OLIVIA FOURNIER
Born in Lyon, France, Olivia Fournier started her career working in luxury fashion and design, which, over the last 12 years, led her to travel around the world. After living in Shanghai, Toronto, Barcelona and Geneva, she is now based in London. Olivia is a passionate French artist working through the medium of acrylic and resin on canvas utilising the palette knife. Fuelled by a rich creative background in art and fashion (having worked with Ralph Lauren for years), and by her travels, she developed a fascination for the Native Americans alongside other unique subjects, whether human or fictional, such as Astronauts, Star Wars Stormtroopers, Indians chiefs, and Chimpanzees to name a few. All of these exceptional subjects communicate the same strength, raw energy and heroic fantasies that touch sensibilities, which inspire her work. Olivia’s approach to painting celebrates a union of colours, light, texture and pace.
